Learning to drive on a farm was easy - you just had to watch out for ditches on either side of the road. My biggest challenge was seeing over the steering wheel. Things got serious when I was closer to getting my driver's license. My dad would let me drive the truck from the farm into town as practice. I knew him to be a quiet and conservative man back then. One evening driving into town, an oncoming car had their bright lights on. My dad was frustrated and kept telling me to "flip him off". I was confused - he kept insisting - I rolled down the window and started to extend my arm when he realized his word choice wasn't the best.
(of course he meant flip my truck lights on and off - I didn’t quite get that)
Flip this coat over and you have two different looks. Intentional though, not from any sort of misunderstanding.
A188:
I have an obsession with blankets. Beautiful, hand stitched, repurposed textiles speak to me. There's something special in wearing fabric that was intentionally made to protect and comfort someone.
The shape isn't tailored. It's not supposed to be. You're wearing a blanket. It's that good. And yes, there are pockets.
Every coat is one of a kind. Made from vintage fabrics stitched by hand, your piece may have markings or worn areas that we find make our coats even more desirable.
