I bought a chartreuse silk shirt when I was in high school - well maybe my parents bought it for me. I can't remember how I actually came to own it. But it made me feel beautiful. I wore it one time hoping it would turn the head of a certain boy and change my life forever (because that's how a teenage girl thinks, right?). It didn't work. He didn't see me.
