Lightweight Kantha Style
Our Patch Coat is a laid-back, everyday favorite—made from vintage Kantha quilts and fully reversible, so you get two looks in one.
It’s got an easy, relaxed fit with full-length sleeves, a soft scoop neckline, and buttons down the front. Wear it open or closed, as a top or light jacket. However you style it, it’s meant to be lived in.
Each one is stitched from repurposed textiles, which means no two are the same—and that’s what makes them so good.

The Patch Coat is designed for a relaxed and loose fit with a rounded scoop neckline. It’s designed for everyday wear as a top or as a light layer.
The weight of the vintage kantha quilt determines how your coat feels and drapes:
- Tissue Weight
Feather-light, minimal structure, feels barely there. - Lightweight
Relaxed drape, easy fit, not overly tailored. - Mid-weight
Holds its shape (especially the collar) but still soft and fluid; softens with wear. - Heavy-weight
Can be broken-in or structured. Structured styles create an A-line shape; all offer a cozy, substantial feel.

Material
Every coat is one of a kind, made from a vintage kantha quilt. Layers of fabric bound by a hand sewn running stitch - your piece may have markings or worn areas that we find make our coats even more storied and unique.
Care
Care
Dry Cleaning or Spot Cleaning is recommended.
If you choose to launder your Blanket Coat, we suggest hand washing or washing on a delicate cycle.
Do NOT machine dry.

We want you to love your Sapana piece. If you aren’t happy let us know. We can process a return or exchange on new and unworn pieces within 10 days of purchase (or delivery if your item was shipped).
Let us know at info@sapanadreams.com if you have a return. We will send you a shipping label and process your return once it’s received. We credit the same account you used for purchasing. Sometimes it can take 5-7 business days to see your credit applied.

Tissue Weight
These are the lightest of our coats. They feel barely there and have minimal structure.

Light Weight
These coats tend to have more drape and a relaxed fit more than a tailored shape.

Mid Weight
More structured than our lightweight coats. They still drape beautifully but you'll find it holds it's shape especially in the collar. They will soften with wear.

Heavy Weight
These can be "structured" or "broken in". If it's structured and heavy weight you will notice more of an "A Line" shape. You will feel a comforting weight on your shoulders.
