Under the Same Sky

Under the Same Sky

I grew up under a never-ending sky. Out in the Texas Panhandle, the horizon stretched so far it felt like the edge of everything. As kids, we'd lay on the backyard trampoline, waiting for the stars to come out. First one, then two—until the whole sky was lit.

I didn’t realize it then, but that sky was teaching me - How to dream big, but stay grounded. How to feel small in a way that makes room for wonder.

I’m traveling to Amarillo to restock our Sapana space at From Sixth Collective. Bringing our newest Patch Coats—stitched with stars, of course. These heritage-inspired coats carry that feeling: part memory, part magic, a little bit sky.

You can find yourself—on a back road in Texas or halfway around the world, and the stars are the same. That’s a kind of comfort and a connection, too - fitting for our brand, I think.
