      Size & Fit

      Mini
      • Approx 31" x 24"
      • Adult Free Size

Our Mini is a size up from our Crop. On most adults you can expect it to fall to the waist.

      Material

Every coat is one of a kind, made from a vintage kantha quilt. Layers of fabric bound by a hand sewn running stitch - your piece may have markings or worn areas that we find make our coats even more storied and unique.

The sequins have been hand applied to your Kantha before it became your coat.

      Care

Tara Collection pieces are SPOT or DRY CLEAN only.

      Tara MINI Style

      • Approx 31" x 24"
      • Adult Free Size

The Tara Mini Coat is a one-of-a-kind vintage kantha jacket with hand-applied sequin detail. Designed for layering day or night, this non-reversible Mini brings shimmer, history, and artisan craft to your closet.

      • Tissue Weight

These are the lightest of our coats.  They feel barely there and have minimal structure.

      • Light Weight

These coats tend to have more drape and a relaxed fit more than a tailored shape.

      • Mid Weight

More structured than our lightweight coats.  They still drape beautifully but you'll find it holds it's shape especially in the collar.  They will soften with wear.

      • Heavy Weight

These can be "structured" or "broken in".  If it's structured and heavy weight you will notice more of an "A Line" shape.  You will feel a comforting weight on your shoulders.

Crafted by hand. Rooted in story.

Every Sapana piece is a labor of love, handmade by artisans who carry generations of tradition in their hands. These pieces aren’t made in factories—they're created slowly and intentionally in rural communities, where each stitch creates opportunity and preserves culture. Sapana exists to honor these stories, to bridge worlds through craft, and to remind us that what we wear can hold meaning far beyond the material.
